Parametric source is worth more than the mesh
An STL is a finished shape you cannot meaningfully edit. A STEP, F3D or .blend file lets you change a tolerance, resize a mount or fit a different component. Listings state whether parametric source is included, and for functional parts it is usually the difference between a usable model and a reprint.
Test-printed, and on what
A model that has never left the screen will often reveal its problems at the first overhang. Listings state whether the seller actually printed it, and on which printer, nozzle and material. Those settings are the closest thing to a guarantee you will get.
Printing it and selling the prints are different rights
Most licences here let you print for yourself. Selling the printed objects is a separate permission that the listing must grant explicitly. If you intend to sell what you print, confirm it in the deal chat before you pay.
