A module, not an application
What is sold here drops into an app you already have. If you need the whole app — auth, teams, database, billing — that is a SaaS starter kit, and buying a payment module instead will leave you building the other 90%. Read the stack field before you buy; a Laravel module will not drop into a Next.js app.
Watch a refund and a failed payment before you confirm
The happy path is the easy part. What separates a usable module is whether webhooks are verified, retries are idempotent, refunds reverse cleanly and a declined card surfaces something a customer can act on. Run all of it in the provider's sandbox while your payment is still protected.
API versions move on their own schedule
Payment providers version their APIs by date and retire old ones. A module built against a superseded version can need real work before it authenticates. Listings state the provider and the version; prefer one that names a date it was last verified.
