If you are buying

Read the licence before you pay. The licence named on the listing is the whole of what you are buying — a commercial licence is not an extended one, and neither transfers ownership. If the scope is unclear, ask in the deal chat so the answer is on the record.
Test everything before you confirm delivery. Confirming releases the money and closes the escrow. If the files are incomplete, do not match the listing, or the licence differs from what was advertised, open a dispute instead of confirming.
Keep the invoice and the deal chat. They are your evidence of what was promised, what was delivered, and on what terms.
You may use what you bought under the stated licence. You may not resell, redistribute or relist the asset itself, or pass it to another party as your own work, unless you bought exclusive rights.

If you are selling

You must be the author, or hold a written licence that permits resale. Attesar verifies who you are, not what you own — if a rights-holder proves otherwise, the listing is removed, the sale is reversed, and repeat cases end the account.
Describe exactly what is included and what is not. Most disputes here are not fraud; they are a buyer who expected the demo content, the fonts, or the support that was never actually part of the package.
Keep your proof of ownership. Source files, commit history, purchase receipts for anything third-party, and the licences that let you redistribute it. You may be asked for them, and having them ready is what turns a complaint into a closed ticket.
Set the licence deliberately. It is what the buyer is paying for, and it binds you as much as them — an exclusive sale means you stop selling that item to anyone else.

What goes wrong specifically with CAD & architecture files

A shared design cannot become your exclusive mark

Buyer: A logo or brand asset sold to many buyers generally cannot be registered as your trademark, because exclusivity is what registration protects and you are not the only user. If you need a registrable mark, buy exclusive rights or commission original work — and run a trademark search in your class and country first.
Seller: Do not include, imitate or adapt existing brand marks, sports and club crests, currency, government emblems or protected symbols. Do not describe a non-exclusive template as giving trademark rights. If you offer exclusive rights, you must stop selling that item and be able to show you did.

Demo images, icons and fonts are rarely included

Buyer: Photos, icon sets, fonts and audio shown in a preview are usually licensed to the author alone and cannot be passed on. Assume you must replace or separately license them before launch unless the listing states in writing that redistribution rights are included.
Seller: You may only redistribute third-party assets when the licence explicitly permits it. Standard stock licences do not. Either buy a redistribution licence, or ship placeholders and list exactly what the buyer must supply. Naming the assets you did not create protects you as much as the buyer.

Disclose AI-generated work

Buyer: Purely AI-generated material may attract thin copyright protection or none at all in your country, which affects whether you can stop anyone else using the same asset. If that matters, ask the seller for a written statement of what was AI-generated before you buy.
Seller: Say so in the listing if any part was AI-generated. You must still hold the right to sell the output, and prompts that name a living artist, a studio style or an existing brand can produce infringing results. Undisclosed AI generation is grounds for removal.
